Terms and Conditions

Product Suitability

Products from HI-TACK TAPES are checked at random to assure consistency of quality.

All information and recommendations issued on HI-TACK TAPES products have been based on research and is believed to be reliable but does not constitute a warranty. All HI-TACK TAPES products are sold with the understanding that the buyer will independently determine the suitability of the product for the buyer’s purpose.

PRICING

(i) All prices shown are subject to change without notice.

(ii) All prices shown are plus GST 10%.

(iii) The recommended prices listed are subject to change without notice.

UNDER AND OVER SUPPLY (CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS)

(i) All custom made bags printed and plain are subject to under and over supply: +/- 5%.

(ii) All custom made cartons and book mailers are subject to under and over supply: +/- 10% plain, +/-15% printed.

(iii) All tapes are subject to under and over length variation: +/- 5%.

CREDIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read this carefully

After a credit account has been approved credit is extended on the same basis as any recognised lender. A recognised lender would, subject to the normal credit checks and company/firm searches, "lend you money in exchange for your purchasing our goods and services, and we expect you to repay the loan when it is due". Likewise with lending institutions, monies lent are repayable on demand.

We do not accept that a query on part of an account is sufficient reason for non payment. Any claims against alleged errors should be made within 10 working days of goods/services.

All goods sold to customers are subject to HI-TACK TAPES terms and conditions which prevail over any contrary terms and conditions incorporated in standard orders supplied by customers.

Acceptance of HI-TACK TAPES goods is deemed acceptance of HI-TACK TAPES terms and conditions.

Credit facilities will be withdrawn in the event of non payment of an account on the due date. It is our normal practise to advise a customer if goods are not to be shipped from our warehouse due to non payment. HOWEVER, not withstanding, HI-TACK TAPES will not accept responsibility or any liability of any claim arising from such non-shipment.

TITLE TO GOODS

All goods supplied remain the property of HI-TACK TAPES until paid for in full.

Until the purchase price of the goods comprised in any invoice and all other monies due by the customer to COURT TRADING PTY LTD known as HI-TACK TAPES on any account whatsoever have been paid or satisfied in full:

(i) The goods comprise on any such invoice shall remain the property of HI-TACK TAPES notwithstanding the delivery of its goods and the passing of the risk to the customer.

(ii) HI-TACK TAPES may at any time recover the goods comprised in any such invoice if they are in the customers possession and resell the goods if any payment owed by the customer on any account is overdue of if HI-TACK TAPES considers that the amount outstanding on the general statement of account between them is in excess of the credit limit which HI-TACK TAPES is willing to accord the customer.

(iii) For the purpose of so recovering the goods, HI-TACK TAPES its servants or agents, may enter upon the customer’s or other premises on which the goods are located.

(iv) The customer shall possess all goods comprised on any invoice on a fiduciary basis only.

(v) The customer shall comply with all the requests of HI-TACK TAPES concerning the manner in which the goods are to be stored and identified as belonging to the customer.

(vi) The customer has the right to dispose of the goods in the course of its business for the account of HI-TACK TAPES and to pass good title in the goods to its purchases being a bona fide purchaser for value without notice of HI-TACK TAPES.

(vii) The payment of any account or invoice of the customer shall become immediately due and payable on the Bankruptcy Winding-up or Receivership of the customer.

(viii) HI-TACK TAPES shall have a right to any claims the customer may have against a purchaser from the customer emanating form the sale of these goods.

(ix) HI-TACK TAPES is entitled to trace the proceeds of the sale of such goods.

EXPLANATION OF ACCOUNT TYPES

30 DAY CHARGE ACCOUNT - Payment must be received in our office within 30 days from INVOICE date.
